FACILITIES
| The Pershing and Kennels' athletic training rooms are utilized for health care for the University's student-athletes as well as providing a laboratory for clinical practice and active learning. Both athletic training rooms have various therapeutic modalities (muscle stimulation, ultrasound, iontophoresis), emergency and first-aid equipment (sphygmomanometer, AED, spineboard, vacuum splints) and rehabilitation equipment (Biodex, BAPS board, theratubing, cuff weights, mini-trampoline). |
PERSHINGThe Pershing athletic training room is located in the northeast corner of Pershing Arena. This athletic training room services athletes utilizing the facilities in Pershing and those practicing and competing in the outdoor fields and courts. It contains 7 treatment tables and 2 taping tables. Two whirlpools, muscle stimulation, ultrasound, and a variety of other modalities are available to treat injured athletes. This athletic training room also contains rehabilitation room containing a variety of rehabilitation equipment. The physician's room, for private examination and disussion is also located her. The offices for the head and assistant athletic trainers are located next door in room 125. |

KENNELSThe Kennels athletic training room is located in the Kennels building in the northwest corner of Stokes Stadium. This athletic training room services athletes using the outdoor track and the football fields. It contains eight treatment tables, four taping tables, and three whirlpools. This facility is equipped with modalities and rehabilitation equipment similar to that in the Pershing athletic training room.
