This pattern is designed to prepare the student for admission into a master’s or doctoral (DPT) degree program in physical therapy. Students are required to obtain a minimum of 200 hours of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting. Course work includes human anatomy, therapeutic modalities, physical rehabilitation and evaluation, as well as physics and psychology. To be a viable candidate for admission to a graduate program in physical therapy, a student should maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher. Graduate admission is generally granted to students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
