Welcome to the Pershing Building Reservation Website. Here you can view, submit, and cancel reservation requests on-line. Several facilities are available for chartered campus organization and university department use, including Pershing Arena, Small Gym, Dance Studio, and four classrooms.
PLEASE NOTE THE NEW HOURS: Pershing Building hours are 5:00pm to 10:00pm, Monday through Friday; 8:00am-10:00pm Saturdays and Sundays. Building lock-down will occur at 10:00pm; organizations will not be permitted to begin an event after 10:00pm. Any organization whose reservation begins before but extends after 10:00pm must vacate the building by 12:30am, unless special permission has been granted through the HES Office for an overnight event.
Any person making a reservation for the use of facilities in Pershing Building should read the Usage Policies. Organizations attempting to reserve Pershing Arena should be specifically aware of the following information contained in the Usage Policies:
All reservations by Chartered Campus Organizations, Divisions or Departments may be cancelled if circumstances (i.e. weather) force higher priority groups to move their activity into the requested area. Athletics and HES have until noon on the day in question to decide to move their activity into the facility.
Groups with reservations that are affected by the priority system should secure a back-up location and understand their reservation may be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. Those groups will be promptly notified if their reservation is being cancelled.
Our office will begin accepting and confirming Spring 2010 requests on November 16 (for classrooms or Dance Studio) and December 7 (for Pershing Arena). You may submit your request at any time before this, but it will be considered first come, first serve based on the date you submitted your request. Priority reservations for the Dance Studio will be allowed as set forth on the Dance Studio Early Bird Request from chartered dance groups only.
PLEASE LOOK FOR OTHER ROOM OPTIONS ON CAMPUS FIRST; DUE TO CONSTRUCTION THROUGHOUT THE SEMESTER, ROOMS MAY BE UNAVAILABLE AT TIMES.
